Project Description
This real estate plug-in allows you to join a “network” of real estate web sites who are growing their traffic through real estate Q&A. Real estate questions are sourced by participating web sites, pooled together, and made available to all members of the network. Answers are provided by local real estate agents and moderated by RealtyBaron.

Plugin Description:
A WordPress Plugin to interact with RealtyBaron’s API using Representational State Transfer (REST). The plugin is able to send queries to Realty Baron’s API to get Real Estate Question and Answers, as well as post Real Estate Questions to the API. XML response data from Realty Baron’s API is being parsed and shown on blog, neatly integrated into individual blog theme.
Characteristics of Plugin:
- REST API to interact with RealtyBaron API and parsing of XML response data.
- An admin option page in WordPress Admin to setup the plugin. Blogger can key in a particular location such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX to show Questions and Answers related to this location.
- Sidebar Widget showing a list of related Questions and Answers, View all related Questions and Answers link, as well as a form to post a Real Estate Question to RealtyBaron’s Real Estate Network.
- Plugin includes an Answers View to list out Real Estate Agent’s answers. Readers are able to sort answers according to criteria such as Agents’ Ranking and Rating.
- Plugin includes a Questions View to show a list of related Real Estate Questions. Clicking onto a particular Question will lead to its answers on Answers View.
- Plugin includes a Question Form, for readers to post a Real Estate Question to Realty Baron’s Real Estate Network. Question will be moderated by Realty Baron, before releasing for public view and Real Estate Agents to answer. Reader can choose to be notify by email when answers are posted. Reader will be notify by email, if their question was rejected. Reader will be able to edit their question by clicking on an email link. This email link will retrieve Readers question for editing and posting back to Realty Baron.
- Data retrieved by plugin will be shown on blog, neatly integrated into its theme.
